What is Subtle Energy?
Note to Readers
The ideas presented here reflect my personal observations, experiences, and understanding of Subtle Energy, Consciousness, and Anti-Consciousness. They are intended to inspire exploration and inquiry, and I encourage each person to apply their own discernment in evaluating these concepts.
Subtle Energy goes by many names depending on the culture, tradition, or researcher describing it. Some of the terms I have studied include torsion, Od, orgone, chi, life force, and other energetic concepts found throughout history. While the language differs, in my awareness they are all attempts to describe the same phenomenon.
In my awareness, Subtle Energy expresses itself through two fundamentally different organizing principles: Consciousness and Anti-Consciousness.
Subtle Energy appears to respond to consciousness and to influence physical systems in ways that are not fully explained by conventional science. It is intimately involved with life processes and appears to play an important role in growth, healing, adaptation, and organization. Unlike many conventional forces, it does not appear to weaken significantly with distance and can penetrate most materials and shielding. Despite being present throughout nature and daily life, it often goes unnoticed.
Consciousness and Anti-Consciousness
In my experience, Consciousness and Anti-Consciousness are not merely psychological states or philosophical concepts. Rather, they appear to be distinct qualities within the subtle field that influence how information, matter, living systems, and experience organize themselves.
Consciousness may be associated with:
Clarity and presence
Calmness and inner stillness
Increased awareness
Left torsion
Positive Od
Counterclockwise spin
Decreased time density
Reduced pain, pressure, and infection
Increased water surface tension
Increased gravity
Decreased entropy
Greater coherence, vitality, and natural organization
Dark Matter
Anti-Consciousness may be associated with:
Confusion and distraction
Suffering
Control and manipulation
An active, restless, or less calm mind
Anxiety and disconnection
Right torsion
Negative Od
Clockwise spin
Increased time density
Decreased water surface tension
Decreased gravity
Increased entropy
Greater fragmentation and disorder
Dark Energy
From this perspective, Consciousness and Anti-Consciousness are not opposites in a moral sense, but different organizing influences that can be observed through their effects. One tends toward greater coherence, connection, and order, while the other tends toward fragmentation, distortion, and entropy.
Throughout my research, I have found parallels with the work of pioneers such as Russian astrophysicist Dr. Nikolai Kozyrev, who explored right-handed and left-handed torsion fields, and German chemist Baron von Reichenbach, who described positive and negative forms of Odic force. While these frameworks use different language, they point toward a common observation: not all energies organize information in the same way. I am also drawn to concepts such as Dark Matter and Dark Energy, which suggest that much of reality may exist beyond the limits of ordinary perception. To me, these ideas encourage a deeper exploration of the subtle energies that shape both the organization of the universe and the experience of consciousness itself.
Subtle Energy and Science
Subtle Energy appears to influence virtually every aspect of science. Large accumulations are rare in the modern environment, yet when concentrations increase, the resulting effects can seem extraordinary and are often difficult to explain using conventional models alone.
Areas that may be influenced by Subtle Energy include:
Gravity: apparent changes in the weight of objects, levitation phenomena, and gravitational anomalies.
Nuclear Processes: variations in decay rates and other anomalous observations.
Electromagnetism: magnetic effects in non-metals, torsion phenomena, magnetic monopoles, light bending, and related effects.
Light: anomalous refraction, distortion, and unusual photographic phenomena.
Water: changes in structure and physical properties.
Biological Systems: effects on vitality, health, healing, and human physiology.
Heat and Thermodynamics: anomalous thermal effects and energy interactions.
From this perspective, the laws and equations of conventional physics remain valid within their normal range of conditions. However, when concentrations of Subtle Energy increase, additional degrees of freedom may become available, permitting phenomena that conventional models do not currently predict.
One way to understand this is that increased concentrations of Subtle Energy appear to transform our familiar three-dimensional universe into a higher-dimensional reality. These additional dimensions create opportunities for new possibilities and new forms of organization to emerge.
In this sense, Subtle Energy can be viewed as a bridge between established physics and the emerging understanding of consciousness. Dr. Claude Swanson describes this concept in Life Force: The Scientific Basis, where subtle energy is presented as a bridge between conventional scientific forces and a range of anomalous phenomena observed in laboratory settings.
As Dr. Swanson writes:
"Subtle Energy is the bridge between current physics and many anomalous effects which have been observed in the laboratory but which violate current science. The presence of subtle energy is believed to modify current physical law introducing a variety of phenomena related to consciousness and paranormal phenomena."
Within the framework of Consciousness and Anti-Consciousness, this bridge becomes even more significant. Subtle Energy is not merely an energetic quantity. It also carries an organizing quality. The degree to which a system expresses Consciousness or Anti-Consciousness influences whether it moves toward greater coherence and possibility or toward fragmentation and disorder.
Bringing More Consciousness Into the Field
The technologies I create and work with are designed to radiate Consciousness into the Field, supporting greater coherence, balance, awareness, and vitality within individuals, environments, and the collective human experience.
By increasing the presence of Consciousness-supporting subtle energies, my work is dedicated to expanding freedom, possibility, and the capacity for human flourishing.
